Cocoa - Island of my Dreams - Day 1

Sometimes a long story or wordy caption is not necessary because a beautiful picture speaks a thousand words.

Cocoa island, Dhoni loft suite.

To hole up here is to discover escapism under a reliable sun. The rooms are inspired by local dhoni boats, adjoined by simple wooden walkways, built above the shallow ocean.

Our lucky number.

Greeted by cozy looking couch upon entry.

Staircase leading to upper deck bedroom.

Check it out! To say this bathroom is huge is an understatement.

Como Shambhala shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and lotion, produced by UK's most sophisticated aroma-therapists: 100% pure and made from only the freshest ingredients including essential oils and therapeutic herbs.

Eucalyptus, my all-time favorite!

Sleep sweetly under natural alang-alang roofing.
Bed is wrapped in soft cream cottons; and come with expansive, whitewashed restroom.

Whitewashed restroom, small but totally functional.

View from top down on upper deck.

Suit is cool, uncluttered and ocean facing from the living room, walk out on to a private terrace; from the terrace, step into a pristine sea.

View from sun deck.

The ocean at your doorstep.

Go snorkel any time as you like it.

Coral?

Our mini island exploration leads us to the rest area near the COMO Shambhala Retreat Spa & Boutique.

Simplicity is a beauty in itself.

Anywhere, everywhere on the island.

Cocoa, a place to value for its quiet.

Immerse in the boundless horizon.

Mini blacktip reef shark. It can grow up to 1.4m.

A short round island walk.

A sense of longing...

Spot the crab.

Infinity pool, opens daily from 10am to 11pm.

Cocoa, a place to rest, relax and recharge.

To dine here is to appreciate the mesmerizing sunset, sand and sea.

Day 1 dinner.
For her, slow roast lamb loin with red braised vegetables, polenta and wilted spinach.

Day 1 dinner.
For him, sheared groupa.
